On Sunday 3rd December, Bremainers from the Malaga and Southern Regional groups met up in Malaga city for a get together. This wasn’t the first time that they had met in person but it was the first time that they were able to meet our Chair Sue Wilson and most members of the Bremain in Spain Council. Sue had flown in especially for the occasion and was warmly welcomed to Andalucia!
The meeting was informal and started in the café at the Carmen Thyssen museum in the centre of Malaga.
Malcolm Perry, who is responsible for all the regional groups, spoke about the power of meeting in person and it certainly has inspired many to become more involved since then.
Later we enjoyed a typical Spanish meal at Las Merchanas restaurant.
This is one of the first large Bremain get togethers which we have planned and there will be more in the New Year where Sue and Bremain Council members are planning to attend.
